partners
We bring new and practical technologies to the real world, bridging the gap between the startups that create them and the companies that use them. We begin by understanding the exact needs of our industry partners in order to match them with the perfect startup. We then design the POC collaboratively, according to their requirements and standards.

A world where innovation thrives
FOCUSING ON PRACTICAL NEEDS
Our starting point is commercial needs rather than technological availability. We match technology with real-world demand, ensuring it becomes a commercial success.
From planning to executing the POC with our partners.
BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS IS AT THE CORE OF WHAT WE DO
Integrating new technologies into established industries is a challenging and uncertain endeavor. By seamlessly navigating the worlds of both tech and business, we minimize this uncertainty and ensure the effective implementation of innovative ideas.
CREATING A COMMON LANGUAGE
We connect industry leaders and corporations with startups. By doing so we successfully facilitate collaboration between entities that often struggle to meet.
TESTING THE WAY TO SUCCESS
The secret to our success lies in our ability to identify new technologies that are not only innovative, but also impactful and relevant. Once we identify an industry partner for the technology, we test it in our POC playground, ensuring its applicability.
Test for success in two main tracks:
At Quantum, we believe in the power of collaboration between industry leaders and startups. Through our end-to-end value chain approach, we facilitate the connection between these two worlds with the practical methodology of POC testing with full process management.
SPARK
Quantum SPARK is a POC runway program designed to connect startups with our partners, in order to create successful POCs. During the selection phase, our partners meet, evaluate, and pick startups whose solutions are relevant to their companies and have a potential use case within their companies. Quantum’s team conducts pain-specific scouting, execution, management, and accompaniment throughout the process to identify the specific startup for each use case at our partners.
The Agile Track
The ongoing open-innovation process offers our partners continuous access to technology, leveraging knowledge and a consistent deal-flow to expedite innovation and explore new business opportunities. This approach involves gathering ideas and addressing specific challenges faced by our partners. It provides greater flexibility, accommodating longer processes or differing product levels, particularly when the launch of a new program is too far away, despite already established connections.
CHAMP is Quantum’s internal innovation management program designed for our partners’ executives. During this program, we educate them about internal innovation and equip them with the tools, knowledge, and mindset needed to become innovation champions in their organizations. Throughout the program, participants work on a PoC roadmap for an innovation project they choose to promote within their organization.
During CHAMP #2, we identified a critical requirement for monitoring temperature and humidity levels in logistic centers responsible for storing items that require specific environmental conditions, such as medicine or food. In response to this need, Quantum found and introduced a startup, which specialises in implementing IoT sensors within warehouses to precisely detect and monitor temperature and humidity levels.
Maya Gitlin
VP supply chain at GLOBUS
At CHAMP #4, we recognized the need for improved task management within the company, covering workforce distribution, task allocation, early warning systems, and the reduction of reactive work practices. To address this, we introduced a startup offering an efficient task management platform that seamlessly integrates with the company’s systems. This platform facilitates actionable tasks through effective control, communication, and oversight, ensuring Globus employees can efficiently manage tasks through familiar channels like WhatsApp and email, enabling early identification and proactive preparation.
Yaarit Harpaz
Projects division manager at Globus
At CHAMP #3, we identified Tashtit’s imperative to explore new business models in the battery recycling sector. Therefore, we conducted a comprehensive study centered on three key areas: providing End of Life (EoL) electric vehicle batteries a second life, exploring hydrometallurgy, and pyrometallurgy. The resulting report encompasses a thorough mapping of competitors, an in-depth analysis of their technologies, and a comprehensive overview of the top lithium-ion battery recycling startups.
